  4.                  The Overview and the the 1976 Election
  5.  
  6. The taking of America has been both a simple and a very complex process.
  7. It  has not been the result of a coup d'etat, although some  aspects  of
  8. the  process resemble a coup.  It has not been a process similar to  the
  9. dictatorship takeovers in Germany, Italy and other fascist regimes.   It
  10. has not been a process like the Communist "uprisings" in Russia, Hungary
  11. and other Eastern European countries.
  12.  
  13. The  taking of America has been a process unique in the history  of  the
  14. world.   The one feature that makes it unique is that what was once  the
  15. greatest  democracy in the world has been taken over by a power  control
  16. group  without  the  knowledge of most of  the  American  people,  their
  17. congressional representatives, or the rest of the world.
  18.  
  19. The group has taken America in this fashion because manipulation of  the
  20. American  presidency and the presidential electoral procedure is  enough
  21. to control America.  Two fiendishly clever stratagems were used to  keep
  22. the fact that control had been seized from being obvious to the  people.
  23. The  first  of  these  was  control of  the  established  media  in  the
  24. dissemination of both true (blocking) and false (flooding)  information.
  25. The second was the use of clandestine and secret weapons and  techniques
  26. developed during World War Two and perfected during the Korean and  Viet
  27. Nam wars.  These techniques are so new and unusual as to be unbelievable
  28. to most citizens.  Thus, the incredibility of such weapons as  hypnosis,
  29. brainwashing  and  "programming"  of  patsies  as  assassins  became   a
  30. psychological tool in the bag of techniques of the power control  group.
  31. The  average American has shrugged off the possibility of  the  takeover
  32. with the belief that, "That's not possible here."
  33.  
  34. The use of such weapons, coupled with a tremendous campaign through  the
  35. controlled  media  that both whitewashes any signs of  conspiracies  and
  36. spreads disinformation throughout the country, has successfully  blocked
  37. any  serious  or  official attempts to get  at  the  truth.   Unofficial
  38. investigators,    private    researchers,   and    even    Congressional
  39. representatives  have been ridiculed and completely blocked by both  the
  40. power control group and their media allies.
  41.  
  42. To  take  over a real democracy without letting the people know  it  has
  43. been   taken   over  is  a  fantastic  achievement.   A  list   of   the
  44. accomplishments of the power control group illustrates the point.  Since
  45. 1963, they have:
  46.  
  47.  1.  Assassinated John F. Kennedy;
  48.  
  49.  2.  Controlled Lyndon B. Johnson as president;
  50.  
  51.  3.  Forced LBJ out of the presidency;
  52.  
  53.  4.  Assassinated Robert F. Kennedy, assuring Nixon's election in 1968;
  54.  
  55.  5.  Assassinated Dr. Martin Luther King;
  56.  
  57.  6.  Eliminated  Ted  Kennedy as a contender in the  1972  elections  by
  58.      framing him at Chappaquiddick and threatening his children;
  59.  
  60.  7.  Stopped  George  Wallace's campaign, assuring Nixon's  election  in
  61.      1972;
  62.  
  63.  8.  Knocked  Edmund Muskie out of the 1972 election campaign  by  using
  64.      dirty tricks;
  65.  
  66.  9.  Covered up all of the above;
  67.  
  68. 10.  Controlled the 15 major news media organizations;
  69.  
  70. 11.  Made Gerald Ford vice president and then president;
  71.  
  72. 12.  Insured  continuity  of  the cover-ups by forcing  Ford  to  pardon
  73.      Nixon;
  74.  
  75. 13.  Murdered  about  100  witnesses  and  participants  in  the   three
  76.      assassinations and one attempted assassination;
  77.  
  78. 14.  Blocked efforts by private citizens and organizations to reveal the
  79.      take-over;  discredited, ruined or infiltrated these individuals or
  80.      groups;   murdered  or  were  accomplices to  the  murders  of  the
  81.      operating assassins;
  82.  
  83. 15.  Blocked  efforts  by members of the Senate and  House  to  initiate
  84.      investigations  of the assassinations and attempted  to  whitewash,
  85.      ridicule   or   eliminate  these  efforts  (their   influence   and
  86.      infiltration   has  been  particularly  effective  in  the   Church
  87.      Committee and in the House Rules Committee);
  88.  
  89. 16.  Controlled  the  presidential  election  procedure  since  1964  by
  90.      eliminating the candidates who might expose the truth and  insuring
  91.      the  election  or appointment of candidates  already  committed  to
  92.      covering up the truth about the take-over.
  93.  
  94. The  question for 1976 was:  Could the power control group continue  the
  95. take-over  during  that year's elections?  Would they be  successful  in
  96. blocking efforts to expose the take-over by congress? Would they be able
  97. to fool the American public again, control the media, and eliminate  the
  98. contenders  for the presidency in 1976 who might have  threatened  their
  99. secure position?  The answer to these questions was "Yes."
  100.  
  101. The  candidates on the scene during the 1976 primaries fell  into  three
  102. categories  according to the control group's point of view.  Category  1
  103. included  candidates that would continue the cover-up of the  take-over.
  104. Gerald Ford led this group with Ronald Reagan not far behind him.  Henry
  105. Jackson  was  a  probable ally because of his backing  of  the  CIA,  an
  106. important  organization in the cover-ups and the takeover.   Category  2
  107. included those candidates who would probably try to expose the take-over
  108. and  the power control group if elected.  Morris Udall, Fred Harris  and
  109. George  Wallace  fell into this category.  The third  category  included
  110. candidates  whose  intentions were not clear, or unknown  at  the  time.
  111. Jimmy Carter, Franck Church and Hubert Humphrey remained in this  group,
  112. and  Sergeant Shriver and Birch Bayh were also in this  category  before
  113. they dropped out of the race.
  114.  
  115. Efforts  would have been made to eliminate Udall, Harris or  Wallace  if
  116. any one of them was nominated at the Democratic convention.  Carter must
  117. certainly  have  been  put to some kind of  loyalty  test  before  being
  118. permitted to continue as the Democratic nominee.  Reagan and Ford  were,
  119. no  doubt,  already "safe" candidates for the control group  because  of
  120. their demonstrated cover-up performances.
  121.  
  122. Ford  had cooperated fully in at least four ways.  He was on the  Warren
  123. Commission  and  played a leading role in the cover-up.   He  wrote  the
  124. cover-up  book  "Portrait  of  the Assassin."   He  pardoned  Nixon  and
  125. protected  the Nixon tapes.  And he formed the  Rockefeller  Commission,
  126. appointing David Belin as head of the staff to continue the cover-up  of
  127. the JFK conspiracy.

  129. Reagan  had cooperated in at least three ways.  He  protected  important
  130. witnesses  from  extradition from California between 1967 and  1969  for
  131. testimony before the grand jury in New Orleans and at the trial of  Clay
  132. Shaw.  He assisted Evelle Younger, then district attorney in Los Angeles
  133. and  later  California  state  attorney  general,  in  covering  up  the
  134. assassination  conspiracy  in  the  Robert Kennedy  case.   And  he  has
  135. consistently  supported the foreign and domestic clandestine  activities
  136. of  the CIA, FBI and other intelligence agencies both nationally and  in
  137. California.

  139. A  later chapter will describe just how the Democratic candidate may  be
  140. eliminated  and when.  Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez from  San  Antonio,
  141. Texas,  who  introduced House Resolution 204 to reopen the  two  Kennedy
  142. assassination cases, the Dr. King case and the George Wallace  shooting,
  143. took  a  public position on the possibility that the 1976  election  was
  144. controlled.   Gonzalez said "If we find the answers--the  truth--to  the
  145. questions  I have raised (about the assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK  and
  146. the Wallace attempt), as well as those many others have raised, will the
  147. truth  make  us free? Yes, it will, for the truth will make us  free  to
  148. pursue democracy--our system of government--through the ballot box,  and
  149. we will not be subject to government by bullets.  The truth will  enable
  150. us to prevent such a series of events from happening again.  Some of the
  151. supporters  of  the investigation have written to me recently  of  their
  152. hope  that the investigation will get underway right away  (March  1976)
  153. because  they are concerned that there is great danger in store for  the
  154. Democratic  nominee  for the President, whoever he turns out to  be.   I
  155. hope  very  much  that these fears do not turn out to have  a  basis  in
  156. fact."
